Same Day & Saturday Scheduling
Wasps don’t make relaxing outdoors easy. Whether they’re buzzing around your patio furniture, tucked into swing sets, or building nests near your garage, these stinging pests put your family on edge. If you’re dealing with a wasp problem in New Smyrna Beach, Rowland Pest Management is ready to help. Our child- and pet-friendly treatments are designed to get you relief without adding more stress to your home.
We’ve handled wasps all across Volusia County, and we know how they behave here on the coast. When you call us, here’s what we’ll do:
We understand the urgency. Wasps are territorial, and if their nest is too close to your home or yard, you don’t want to wait. That’s why we offer same-day appointments in New Smyrna Beach and neighboring areas. We also book on Saturdays for your convenience.
Wasps are defensive and can sting repeatedly. If you swat at them or get too close to a nest, they can attack in groups. And for those with allergies, even one sting is a serious concern. Instead of putting yourself at risk, let our professionals handle the problem with the proper gear and techniques.
You shouldn’t have to trade safety to rest easy. That’s why we use reduced-risk products designed to be harmless for your children and pets. We’ll explain every step so you know exactly what’s being used and where.

It’s easy to mistake one for the other, but knowing which insect you’re dealing with helps you understand the risk.
Most commonly seen around homes in Florida, wasps have slim bodies with a “pinched” waist. They usually have black or brown coloring with yellow or reddish markings. Their paper-like nests often appear under eaves or furniture.
Hornets are much larger and more aggressive. The bald-faced hornet is black with white markings and builds big, enclosed nests that hang from trees or buildings. European hornets are brown with orange-yellow stripes and are known to chew through wood and siding.
Smaller and stockier than hornets, yellow jackets have bright yellow and black markings and often build nests underground or inside wall voids. These are some of the most aggressive stingers in Florida.
We’re local, and that matters. From Sugar Mill to South Causeway, we’ve helped homeowners in New Smyrna Beach handle seasonal wasp nests to full-blown infestations. We know what’s typical for the area and how to get ahead of it.
You don’t have to tiptoe around your yard or worry about your kids getting stung every time. If wasps are keeping you from enjoying your home, give us a call. We’ll help you take your yard back.
As a locally-owned business, we’re always willing to go the extra mile and help our neighbors achieve pest-free homes. We’re proud to service areas throughout Central Florida, including:
