We’ve built our Complete Termite Package for Florida homes like yours. While there are over 50 types of termites in the U.S., Central Florida is primarily hit by two: drywood and subterranean termites. We treat both.
Drywood termites don’t need moisture like other species. They burrow into attic beams, hardwood flooring, and other dry wood inside your home. We treat these infestations by applying borate directly to exposed wood and injecting termiticide foam to stop future colonies.
These termites live underground and are the most common in Dr. Phillips. They build mud tubes to travel safely above ground, often sneaking in through the foundation and damaging structural supports. We use Trelona bait stations to target the entire colony and break the cycle of infestation.
Less common but still possible, dampwood termites thrive in decaying or waterlogged wood—think sheds, fence posts, or fallen trees. If your property has consistent moisture or drainage issues, we’ll inspect for these as well.
